Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, whose merchandising empire includes singing dolls and a line of nail polish, is the subject of a new line of trading cards and stickers set to hit US stores this week, Billboard reported Monday.
The line will include 150 different cards and 30 stickers, with five cards and one sticker to a pack for a retail price of $1.99.
“I always dreamed of being a hockey player and having my own trading card,” Bieber said in a statement. “I remember collecting hockey cards, so the idea that kids are going to enjoy my cards like I enjoyed my hockey cards is amazing!”
Canadian Bieber was nominated for two Grammy Awards last week, in the Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album categories, the latter for his album “My World 2.0.”
