Justin Just Wants To ‘Make People Happy’

If you were hoping to purchase February’s issue of Vanity Fair, be forewarned: to get it, you’re gonna have to fight to the death with a legion of snarling, clawing, screaming girls. Because Justin Bieber is on the cover, and he’s loosening his tie, and…
…oh, look. Our little sister just fainted.
Justin skyrocketed to stratospheric levels of fame over the past year, so it was only a matter of time before he landed his very own VF photo shoot—complete with a cadre of girlfan extras who can be seen giggling and staring goggle-eyed at the Biebs in pretty much every frame. But in his interview, Justin suggested that his massive following of females might not be just a matter of celebrity.
“Not trying to be arrogant,” he said, “but if I walked down the street and a girl saw me, she might take a look back because maybe I’m good-looking, right?”
Um, maybe? But we’ll never know; the days of getting an objective opinion on Justin’s sex appeal as compared with the average guy are long, loooong gone. And while he seems to have adjusted nicely to a life in the spotlight, he also tells VF that his fame came as a surprise.
“I didn’t know that any of this was really possible,” he said. “I grew up in a really small town with not a lot of money, and I liked singing, but it was just something that was a hobby.”
Now that he does know it’s possible, however, Justin also has big plans: “I want to grow as an artist, as an entertainer, and basically perfect my craft. I want to be the best that I can be.” He also cites Michael Jackson as a major influence, saying, “He was so broad, everybody loved him, and that’s what my goal is—to basically make people happy, to inspire them, and to have everyone root for me.”
Of course, Justin’s already accomplished that goal with pretty much every female human being under the age of 18—but he knows that the dudes will be a tougher sell.
“For younger guys, it’s like [they think] they’re not cool if they come to my concert,” he admitted. “That’ll [change], I think; it’ll happen, maybe when I’m 18.”
For now, JBiebs isn’t resting on his laurels… and launching a last little jab at the haters. Because teenage guys might not be on board the Bieber train just yet…
“But meanwhile,” Justin smirked, “all their girlfriends are coming to watch me.” -mtv.com

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber: Kissing Couple!!

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber: Kissing Couple!
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber couldn’t keep their hands off each other while spending time together on a yacht in the Caribbean over New Year’s weekend.
Justin, 16, and Selena, 18, took a small boat with a bunch of friends to get to the giant private yacht, on which they sunbathed in their swimwear.
Justin recently was mum about their relationship, but he told a radio station that Selena was “amazing.”

Winning Grammy “Would Mean the World” to Justin

(CBS)
Justin Bieber may only be 16, but he’s one of the biggest pop stars on earth.
He’s the third most-followed person in the world on Twitter. He’s sold over 7 million songs online. And the music video for his hit single “Baby” is the most-viewed in the history of YouTube.
His first full album, released in March, went double platinum.
He’s been nominated for two Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist.
And his book, “First Step 2 Forever,” is a New York Times best-seller.
What’s it all mean to Bieber?
“Early Show” Special Contributor Tyler McGill caught up with the teen idol at a recent concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden and got a loud dose of “Bieber Fever.”
“It’s definitely been great,” Bieber told McGill. “I’ve been having a great time with just this whole experience.
Over the past year, everything has just happened so quickly.”
Bieber is the first musician to go from Internet sensation to mainstream stardom.
R&B star Usher played a big part is propelling Bieber to success, and is “a really big part of my,” Bieber told McGill. ” … I call him all the time, I ask him for advice. We hang out. He’s probably the closest person to me in the music business.”
But winning a Grammy would be a new topper for Bieber, he gushed to McGill, saying, “It would mean the world to me; that’s definitely one of my dreams, to win a Grammy. So, to have two Grammy nominations is crazy!”

Justin Outed As ‘Chandler Bing,’ So Here Are Some New Hotel Aliases

For any superstar, one of the great rites of passage is the practice of registering under a fake name at a hotel. Because some fans are both passionate and unscrupulous, a certain level of anonymity is required when traveling on the road. Professional athletes do it all the time (Michael Vick became somewhat notorious for using the pseudonym “Ron Mexico,” most notably when getting treated for herpes at a clinic), and the alter-egos can stretch anywhere from late politicians to fictional characters. According to a report, 16-year-old Canadian singing sensation Justin Bieber prefers the latter, as he has been known to check into hotels as “Chandler Bing,” which was the name of Matthew Perry’s character on the long-running sitcom “Friends.”
Of course, once an alias has been made, it has to be retired (because how many people are actually named Chandler Bing?), which is why Bieber will need to come up with a new name to drop while he is on the road. Luckily, the intrepid MTV Newsroom crew has been around famous people long enough to know exactly what they need, which is why we present Mr. Bieber with this list of alternative aliases as he makes his way through the world’s finest hotels.
Ross Geller
Why not use a little lateral thinking and pick a different character from “Friends”? He could also go with Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc’s character) or Richard Burke (one of Monica’s boyfriends, played by Tom Selleck).
George Costanza
If he doesn’t want to stick with “Friends” names but still wants to relive the ’90s NBC comedy lineup, he should go with one of the key characters from “Seinfeld.”
Niles Crane
See above, except insert “Frasier” in there.
Doug McKenzie
In a nod to his Canadian roots, Bieber should assume a name used on the classic sketch show “SCTV.” Also useful: Guy Caballero and Johnny LaRue.
Daniel Osbourne
“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” was a cult favorite in the late ’90s, and one of the most endearing characters on that show was part-time werewolf Daniel “Oz” Osbourne (played by Seth Green).
Hawkeye Pierce
Though it had its series finale 11 years before Bieber was even born, “M*A*S*H” endures as one of the biggest, most important and most beloved television shows in the history of the medium.
Edward Masen
Since Bieber and actor Robert Pattinson are probably the two biggest teen heartthrobs in the world, it’s only right that Justin should borrow the fictional name of Pattinson’s “Twilight” character (and in an extra-special twist, he should use the name Masen, which was Edward’s human name before he was changed into a vampire).
Georges St-Pierre
St-Pierre is the current UFC champion in the welterweight division, and one badass Canadian to boot. Why shouldn’t he share his name with another key citizen of the Great White North?
Jake Sully
Taking the name of the lead character from “Avatar” is perfect, because it references a gigantic cultural event but also keeps him somewhat anonymous. After all, does anybody really remember what Sam Worthington’s name was in the movie?
Cordell Walker
Bieber is a big fan of Chuck Norris (a fact he regularly brings up on Twitter), so why not assume the name of the character Norris played on the legendary series “Walker, Texas Ranger”?
What name do you think Justin Bieber should use in hotels? Let us know in the comments!

Bieber Helps Brown Get Back In The Game!

On the height of recently completing a year-long, court mandated domestic violence program, former teen heartthrob Chris Brown is fresh out of the program and has his eyes set on a future collaboration.
Could this be the collaboration that helps not only usher in a new year with a “big record” but also a new beginning for the castigated R&B singer?
Recently, Chris Brown took to Twitter to show not only a ‘Twitpic’ of his diploma but also hinted about collaboration with new-found teen heartthrob, Justin Bieber. Haven’t we learned anything about Chris Brown and Twitter? Nevertheless, the duet could go a long way towards rehabilitating Brown’s tarnished image for assaulting his former girlfriend Rihanna, who seems to be living “Loud” now.
If the collaboration, which is alleged to go viral on New Year’s, goes well it could help Chris Brown’s image tremendously. The former “Run It” artist hasn’t received much camera time since the unfortunate incident. With a recent collaboration with Keri Hilson on her new album “No Boys Allowed”, seems like Chris Brown is making strides and coming back to himself with a little help from the industry that has prior shown little or no love.
We all know Justin Bieber has never shied away from a good collaboration. I mean, why would he? Being an overnight artist, Bieber and his camp realizes the importance of maintaining stability in a ever-changing market. At the tender age of 16, the singer has worked with everyone from Sean Kingston to Ludacris to Kanye West and even The Dream.
Do you think Chris Brown thinks Justin is his protégé and if so, is that a good?
This bridging of these two shouldn’t come as a total surprise. Even with Bieber’s squeaky image, this is a great idea. Both artists have found themselves in the hearts of teenagers and pretty much have had the same trajectory in the industry. Both were very young when they entered the business, capturing many awards and high recognition immediately. If you think about it, we really don’t know where the two came from. They just popped on the scene, well-received. Brown and Bieber match up, not only vocally appealing to young girls everywhere but also style-wise. Amazing dancers with swag, easily translated through their fluid movements on stage combined with stylish apparel.
To associate both artists with negative conations because of one incident isn’t fair for this duo. But many people won’t see it this way. Regardless, of the initial reactions, everyone will still be stuck on what happened on that Grammy weekend almost two years ago. Shouldn’t we move past this now and allow Chris Brown his time to shine, again? We all know Chris Brown is a solid performer full of talent. Hopefully, people will stop beating down Chris Brown and building up Rihanna, and move past their identities as victims of a horrible incident. I’m not condoning domestic violence, but there are deeper issues here. Issues that we know nothing about, and never will. They have made a point to put it behind them, we must do the same. Let’s be honest, what happened happened and unfortunately neither one of them can change that.
And since we’re being honest, you know you’re just dying for another Justin Bieber track.
